“When we give ourselves the chance to let go of all our tension, the body's natural capacity to heal itself can begin to work.”
— Thich Nhat Hanh
Wise Body™
I found myself observing posture at a young age. I can recall spending time at 10 years old wiggling my fingers one at a time, willing their movement with my mind, pondering the connection between my brain and bones. Little did I know that this curiosity would lead me down a fascia-nating journey I would love deeply. I remember paying attention to the elderly who took one precarious step after another, and furrowing my brows in deep consternation about the how's and why's their spines became so bent, or what caused them to wobble so unsteadily, or what they were like as children. How did they move? I always wondered about life and the aging process and I think that I without fully knowing it at so tender an age became adept at gathering information and applying knowledge toward embodying graceful movement through life. In my personal life this physical introduction has led me toward observing my body, mind, and emotions, through a whole-listic lens. I am forever evolving, learning, and growing and so does my love for movement.
Wise Body™ is a constantly expanding compilation of education and research to improve well-being that is always unfolding for me. I draw from all the classics, Dr. Janet Travell, Joseph Pilates, Vladimir Janda, Pantanjali, Iyengar, to current innovators such as Tom Meyers, Gil Hedley, Marie Jose Blom, Katy Bowman, Yamuna Zake, Jill Miller, and Trina Altman to name a few, and many, many, many hours of continuing education and self-practice. Every session with me integrates a multitude of styles of movement and health practices. At the heart of each session is self agency. It is always an educational experience, there will always be teaching nuggets, and the learning of valuable skills to help keep you healthy and pain-free, so that you can continue doing the activities you love for as long as you live.
One of the deepest commitments I hold at Inner Soulstice Wellness is to continue growing — not just as a holistic practitioner but as a human who believes in the body’s wisdom. I’m always immersing myself in new trainings, anatomy studies, fascia research, and movement education because your healing deserves more than routine. It deserves presence, precision, and a practitioner who evolves right alongside the science and the spirit of this work.
Every course I take, every mentorship I join, every method I explore becomes another layer of support I bring into our sessions together. It helps me see you more clearly — your patterns, your possibilities, your unique pathways back to balance. From advanced myofascial release techniques to movement-based re-education, mindful alignment, and nervous system-aware practices… continuing education allows me to weave together approaches that honor the whole of you. Thank you for trusting me with your body’s story. I promise to keep learning so I can keep showing up with skill, heart, and Samyama—a yogic practice combining dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation), and samadhi (absorption)—the outcome being deepened perception and clear seeing.
